Why it exists
Captcha started as a locksmith's daydream: a small, honest gate that keeps bots out without interrogating humans. Style it with a POST call, hang it on your form, and let the hash do the remembering.

Captcha is a traditional captcha providing and verification service. A POST endpoint takes JSON data to style the captcha and returns it as an image with a hash code. That hash code is then used to verify the answer.
Privacy note: designed to keep your data on your device where possible. No unnecessary accounts or tracking.
Behind the piece
Captcha started as a locksmith's daydream: a small, honest gate that keeps bots out without interrogating humans. Style it with a POST call, hang it on your form, and let the hash do the remembering.
It studies old ticket stubs and wax seals — artifacts that prove something without explaining everything. The distorted letters are a handshake, not a puzzle box.
Kept deliberately traditional: JSON in for styling, an image plus a hash code out, verification by hash rather than session. No maze, no surveillance — just a well-made lock with a satisfying click.
